Shipping Policy
At Chip Cookies, we take pride in providing high-quality, freshly baked cookies. Due to the perishable nature of our products, our return and refund policies are outlined separately for nationwide shipping, in-store purchases, and catering orders for clarity:
Nationwide Shipping

Shipping Timeframes: We make all cookies fresh daily for each of our customer's orders. Orders received by 8 AM MT (Monday - Friday) will ship the same day, while orders placed later will be shipped the next business day. Delivery delays may occasionally occur due to UPS weather or operational issues.

Processing Time: All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. Except during busy periods such as holidays.

Delivery Status: You will receive an email with a tracking number once your order ships. Please allow 48 hoursfor tracking details to become available. If you have not received your order within 10 days of shipment, contact us at orders@chipcookies.co with your order number.

Domestic Shipping Rates: Shipping charges will be calculated at checkout. We offer both ground and 1-day shipping through UPS, which includes a $5 shipping and handling fee.

Shipping to P.O. Boxes: UPS does not deliver to P.O. boxes. If this is your only option, use the street address of the post office.

Refunds, Returns, and Damages:

We cannot accept returns due to the perishable nature of our products.

If your order arrives damaged, email orders@chipcookies.co with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these issues on a case-by-case basis.

Non-Perishable Items: Non-perishable items, such as merchandise, may be returned under reasonable conditions. Contact us within 7 days of delivery to initiate a return. Items must be unused and returned in their original condition. Refunds will exclude original shipping costs.
In-Store Purchases

Defective Products: If there is a defect or issue with your product, please return the item, or the portion remaining, to the store within 24 hours of purchase, along with your receipt or proof of purchase. If returning the item is not feasible, please provide clear photos or other documentation as proof.

If we determine there is a quality issue, we will provide an exchange or a refund proportionate to the returned amount. Chip Cookies reserves the right to assess and determine product quality.

Dissatisfaction: If you try a product and simply don’t care for it, we encourage you to try something different next time; however, refunds will not be issued for personal preference.
Catering Orders

Cancellations or Changes: Cancellations or changes to catering orders must be made at least 2 business daysprior to the scheduled pickup or delivery time. Orders canceled after this period are non-refundable and deposit withheld.

Order Accuracy: Please inspect your catering order upon receipt. If there are any issues, contact us immediately to resolve the matter.
Local Delivery

Generally, deliveries are made from 12 PM to 10 PM, Monday through Saturday (expanded hours available in some locations). You will receive updates via email or text based on the contact information provided at checkout.
General Refund Guidelines

Refunds will never exceed the original purchase price.

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method. Please allow time for your bank or credit card provider to process the refund.

Sale items and gift cards are non-refundable.
Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt. If an item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us immediately at orders@chipcookies.co. We’ll work to resolve the issue promptly.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Perishable Items: Due to the perishable nature of our products, these items cannot be returned or refunded.

Custom or Personalized Orders: Custom and personalized items are non-refundable.

Non-Perishable Items: Non-perishable items are subject to the terms outlined in the Nationwide Shipping section.

To start a return or refund request, contact us at orders@chipcookies.co. Please include your order details and a description of the issue. For in-store purchases, bringing the product and proof of purchase directly to the store is recommended for faster resolution.
